The Time Being: playing at the excelsior hotel tonight

The Time Being: playing at the excelsior hotel tonight

I'm finally recognizing that Heyday is a paramount CD. Kilbey's great vocals emerge on that CD and have continued ever since.

Davem: You were the best commentor.
Andy: The Dudes of Neptune is the coolest and most alluring name ever for a band. I am not a typical vegan/vegetarian. I'm 30 pounds overweight. I do it it for animal rights. And I love whiskey.

You two cool dudes still live in the best Country. I am so frustrated that Jeff Beck is playing five dates at Ronnie Scott's Jazz club in London. It only seats 200 people. I don't have a passport and I have family obligations meaning I cannot attend.

David Cameron is not that bad!!!

David Cameron IS that bad. I am just awaiting delivery of a veggie curry....yum!!!!
Glad you're getting into Heyday - a fine album. Should I listen to some Jeff Beck? If so where should I start? How the hell do you have 150 Tangerime Dream cd's???? As I type AndyL will be getting ready for his gig - I hope it goes well for him. If ever you come to blighty do drop in & stay for a few days matey. I've enjoyed reading your blog. You write well BC. You are clearly a VERY intelligent man - I'm just a thick brummie!!
love

oh, i forgot to mention~~truth be told, there are very very VERY few comments that i actually read now in the TTB comment box, what with all the idiots who are snakes in the grass waiting to strike at people. and you know from reading them that it can be quite vicious. so, i actually only read just a handful of people's comments, and i do NOT read anything that has "anonymous" in the name line, or any obviously made-up stupid name~~because they are always from some mean asshole.

when i open his the comment box, i 've got my index finger on that scroll wheel on the mouse, and i scroll the screen down, scanning, until i hit upon a name that i recognize, like yours, read that comment, and then continue to scroll until i hit another one. so it's like this: scroll---davem--read comment--scroll--andyL--read comment--scroll--brien c--read comment--scroll--eek--read comment.....and so on and so forth.

in fact, i think i can count on one hand how many people i actually read, and you are one of them. i stopped reading the others a looooong time ago (probably around 6 to 8 months ago).

funny~~sue c about 4 months ago e-mailed me and said that somebody had trashed me about a comment i made, and i told her "oh really? that's interesting~~i never saw it. and i won't. because i don't even read the anons anymore, so they are wasting their time!!"

i really don't understand the anons anyway **shrug**. when i first joined the TTB back in may of 06, i was at first going to use a nickname, but i decided not to. i wanted steve to see who i was~~"veleska" is my given name. it's russian for elizabeth, and "1970" is my birth year. and that's my ugly mug picture. and using my real name and pic paid off for me, because when i met the church after their concert last year in dallas, steve recognized me. and when he autographed my ticket, he even spelled my name right!! tee hee!!

well, sorry i've hijacked your comment box, but really, brien, we don't want you to leave. come back. i enjoy reading what you have to say.
