Love God and all his creation. All humans including the good and the bad are children of God. Animals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians and other sentient species are Creatures of God. Thou shall not kill pertains to all the aforementioned.

America needs to legalize pot. It would be good news for users, the general public and even the cops. Law Enforcement needs to accentuate combating violent crime.

Andy: The Dudes of Neptune is the coolest and most alluring name ever for a band. I am not a typical vegan/vegetarian. I'm 30 pounds overweight. I do it it for animal rights. And I love whiskey.

You two cool dudes still live in the best Country. I am so frustrated that Jeff Beck is playing five dates at Ronnie Scott's Jazz club in London. It only seats 200 people. I don't have a passport and I have family obligations meaning I cannot attend.

A very creative but self-denigrating blog. SK is so talented. My favorite vocalist for my favorite band. One of my favorite vegetarians and animal lovers. The Church is respected by everybody that is cognizant of them. Never a simplistic, smaltzy or trite song by The Church or on any of SK's solo recordings. Steve Kilbey, Chrissie Hynde, Moby, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai and Steve Howe are the nucleus of my music galaxy. The latter three are guitarists and I still have a soft spot for Macca, Judith Durham, Boston, Morrissey and Annie Haslam.


Self-Hatred can have its virtues in a very spiritual way. My life had gotten better since I discovered SK.

Merzbow !

Since the year 2000 no musical star has been a more strident and full-blown animal- loving, vegetarian activist than Japan's "Noise Music" master, Merzbow. His music is very thunderous, catostrophic, and ear smashing. If you lower the volume to three or four it can be assuaging to the ears. Why listen to such music !

1) It's full of rage against man's mistreatment of other creatures.
2) It's cathartic for the mind and soul.
3) It's intermittently mellow and celestial !
4) Merzbow is very talented (I saw him live) !

Reverence For All Life !

It is spiritually and morally imperative to have reverence for all life. It is imperative to be a vegetarian who eats no meat, poultry, fish or the carcass of any creature. It is morally imperative to denounce abortion and the death penalty. It is morally imperative to denounce hunting, fishing, trapping, animal experimentation and poaching. All people are children of God and the entirity of the animal kingdom are creatures of God. One most have reverence for the lives of all God's creatures great and small. Smoking and drinking are okay because you are not hurting people or animals. Drinking has to be controlled otherwise any of us could have the potential to harm others. I am far from a saint when it comes to drinking.

A Radical Hindu In India !

If only I could be a radical Hindu living in India. I would have impunity from prosecution and terrorize and tyrannize all the inhumane humans who harm, torture and kill animals. I would protect animals (the tortured souls of the planet) from humans (the fallen devils of this planet). YES I WOULD, IF IMAGINATION WERE REAL !

John Wesley Was An Animal Loving Vegetarian

John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, was an animal loving vegetarian. He lived in the 18th and early 19th century and was a true visionary. Wesley abstained from flesh-foods because he loved animals. He was also very oppossed to slavery and all forms of discrimination. Wesley implored people to be kind to horses and other animals that were used for transport and work. He lambasted parents who were inhumane to animals because they would influence their children to be cruel. Wesley asserted that every creature had a purpose in accordance to the laws of God and nature. His sermon "The General Deliverance" was mystical and it envisioned an afterlife for every single animate species created by God ! John Wesley was a veritable saint !

Ringo Starr Is An Animal Loving Vegetarian !

Ringo Starr the former drummer and vocalist for the Beatles is an animal-loving vegetarian. He has gone meatless for more than fifteen years. His wife Barbara Bach is also a vegetarian. Last year Ringo lambasted the Canadian seal hunt and stated that he had the credibility to do so because he is a vegetarian. Ringo has pets and he donates to animal welfare organizations. His recent solo albums have been very stellar. Must buys are "Choose Love", "Ringo Rama". "Vertical Man", "Time Takes Time" and "Storytellers Live". His music is very uplifting and comforting with a big band Beatles sound.

Judith Durham Is An Animal Loving Vegetarian !

Judith Durham, the lead vocalist for the legendary Australian Band, The Seekers, is an animal-loving vegetarian. She has not eaten any meat, poultry, fish, shellfish or dairy products since 1969. Her late husband influenced her to be vegetarian primarily for health reasons. In recent years she has made animal rights statements encouraging people to adopt dogs and cats from animal shelters and to treat them like members of the family. Additionally, she has denounced slaughterhouses for mistreating and killing innocent animals that can't speek for themselves. Mr. Durham is a youthful 60 t and her voice is celestial and majestic. Must buy Cds are the Seekers "Ultimate Collection", "Night Of Nights Live", "Future Road", "25 Year Reunion Celebration" and Judith Durham "Hold On To Your Dream". Ms. Durham is a spiritual, religious and compassionate human being of the utmost quality. The Seekers Christmas CD that was released in 2001 is very nicely done and sung.

Don't Eat Cicadas !

Food critics are encouraging people to eat cicadas when millions of the creatures inundate our lawns, yards and trees this summer. We should not eat our fellow creatures of God. Starving wildlife species and stray animals can eat them if they are "naturally inclined" to do so.

Now I learned that football star Michael Vick might be involved in the staging of dogfights and many severely injured dogs were found on his propery. Another rich "star" like Ted Nugent who maims and kills animals for pleasure? Enraging and sickening!!!! I hope Vick does not listen to violent gangster rap.

Steve Kilbey Has A Killer Blog

Steve Kilbey's "The Time Being" is one of the greatest blogs that you could ever read. He is the insanely talented lead vocalist, lyricist and bass player for the unheralded supergroup, namely, The Church. Kilbey is a very surreal, profound and existential writer. He is also a very spiritual person. As a vocalist, lyricist and musician, I can't think of anybody who is more multi-talented and innovative than Steve Kilbey. Paul McCartney is a close second. The Church are much better than Radiohead, U2, The Smiths and Coldplay. I love all the latter bands.

Annie Haslam Is An Animal-Loving Vegetarian !

Annie Haslam is a celestial vocalist who was the lead singer for the British progressive rock and folk band known as Renaissance. Their greatest album is "In The Land Of the Rising Sun" Live in Japan 2001. Annie finest solo CDs are "Still Life", " The Dawn Of Ananda", "Live Under Brazilian Skies" "One Enchanted Evening" and "Blessing In Disguise". Her magnificent voice is virtually as refined and magical as Sarah Brightman's. Annie Haslam has been an animal-loving vegetarian for over 20 years. In the last ten years she has dramatically increased her activism. Her website is wonderful. Annie Haslam is also a fantastic painter. She lives with several animal companions on the East Coast amid a pristine woodlands area.

Tom Scholz Is An Animal Loving Vegetarian

Tom Scholz, the founder and primary musician for the rock band Boston, is a diehard vegan for over twenty years. On Boston's last four Cds "Third Stage", "Walk On", "Greatest Hits" and "Corporate America", Scholz has accentuated the band's commitment to animal rights and vegetarianism in the linear notes. They oppose hunting, slaugherhouses, child abuse, domestic abuse and all forms of cruelty against animals. I have seen Boston in concert three times. In a live setting Tom Scholz is an amazing guitarist and keyboard wizard. He has wriiten the bands greatest songs. Lamentably, lead vocalist, Brad Delp, took his life in early 2007. Delp was a superlative vocalist, a compassionate person and an animal-loving vegetarian for the last thirty years of his life. My favorite Boston CDs are "Don't Look Back", "Thirdstage" and "Corporate America". My favorite songs are "Higher Power", "A Man I'll Never Be"and "Corporate America". Scholz has donated millions of dollars to help the homeless, unfortunate children and animal welfare organizations.

I Am An Obese Vegetrain

Yeterday I saw my Doctor and was mortified to learn that I am an obese vegetarian who has to lose 25 pounds very soon. I eat a low-carb, high protein diet rife with whole grains, nuts, high fiber-low carb tortillas. It must be the medication I take and my dismal lack of exercise. I don't look like a vegetarian. Instead of professing to being a vegetarian, I will tell people that I am an animal rights activist who refuses to eat God's creatures. I am just another disgrace to the fallen human race.

Dick Gregory Is An Animal Loving Vegetarian !

African-American, civil rights leader, Dick Gregory, has been an animal loving vegetarian for over forty years. He has consistently denounced slaughterhouses, hunting, trapping, animal experimentation, fishing and inhumane circuses and rodeos. Gregory is a strident militant on behalf of Black empowerment but he remains a bona fide pacifist. If Dick Gregory was the Nation's number one African-American leader, there would not be so many homicides and such rampant animal cruelty in our urban cities. Dick Gregory predated all of our other animal welfare leaders. He encouraged the venerable Coretta Scott King to become a vegetarian. The late Mrs. King was a veritable saint.

Terry "Geezer" Butler Is An Animal Loving Veggie

Terry "Geezer Butler" the bass player and major lyricist for Black Sabbath has been an animal-loving vegetarian for nearly 40 years. He and his wife have several pets and they now live in Los Angeles (good weather, bad pollution). He is currently performing with a band called "Heaven and Hell". His solo band, GZR, plays heavy metal but the quality of their music is good. Geezer Butler is a very intelligent and enlightened human being. A cool person that further vindicates the moral imperative for going meat-less.

Jeff Beck Is An Animal Loving Vegetarian !

Jeff Beck, the world's greatest living guitarist, has been an animal-loving vegetarian since 1969. His guitar ingenuity, riffs and tone are profoundly revered by David Gilmour, Brian May, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, Jimmi Page, Dave Davies, Phil Collen and Slash. Jeff Beck is very reserved and he lives in a majestic British Estate. He fixes hot rods and he is an avid gardener. Over the years Jeff Beck has taken care of hundreds of dogs and cats. Not too long ago he had a herd of pet sheep. His live concert performances are spellbinding.

Edgar Froese Is A Compassionate Vegetarian !

The guru and founder of Tangerine Dream, Edgar Froese, has been a strict vegetarian for thirty years. He refuses to eat meat and fish for moral and compassionate reasons. Edgar Froese is an extremely creative performer and I have over 150 Tangerine Dream and/or Edgar Froese CD's. He plays myriad keyboards, electronic instruments and very stellar guitar. His prolific musical output is amazing. He is Germany's finest musical marvel.

Steve Kilbey Is An Animal-Loving Vegetarian

The incredibly talented vocalist, lyricist and multinstrumentalist for the Church, Steve Kilbey, is also an animal loving vegetarian. He was kind enough t e-mail me to verify the fact. He does not consume beef, pork, poultry, fish or shellfish. Kilbey is a veritable vegan. His "The Time Being" blog frequently mentions his meatless diet. Kilbey is a very esoteric, poignant and visionary man. He is so smart, creative and talented, I hope he does not hit the deep end. As a vocalist and rock performer I feel that he surpasses Bono, Thom Yorke, Jim Kerr and Chris Martin. The Church have lost some of their popularity but the Band's recent albums are their finest ever recorded. Kilbey's been a vegetarian for approximately thirty years.

Plunging Towards Cannibalism !

The human race has fallen so far from grace we are plunging towards cannibalism. In America people gorge on the dead flesh of cows, pigs, lambs, chickens, turkeys, fish and shellfish. Some Europeans eat horses and rabbits. In the Orient people delight in consuming the flesh of cats, dogs, whales, dolphins and sharks. In the Congo cruel bush-meat traders slaughter chimps, gorillas, bonobos, orangutans and hippos for food. In this fallen world we are eating our fellow creatures that emanate from the same Creator that created us. This is inhumane and totally insane.

Wonderful Isidore CD

I have just listened to an incredibly mesmerizing, dreamy and priceless CD called, Isidore. It features The Church's lead vocalist, Steve Kilbey, on vocals. He is amazing and too unheralded. Kilbey tops Bono, Thom Yorke, Jim Kerr and Chris Martin as a vocalist, lyricist and creative artist. The best seem to never get their due recognition.

Mad Cow Disease And the Bird Flu !

If people would cease and desist from inhumanely mishandling, mistreating and slaughtering cows and chickens for food, we would not have to fear deadly Mad Cow Disease and the Bird Flu pandemic.

A Not So Good Church Album

I have purchased and listened to 35 of The Church and/or Steve Kilbey CDs. The only one I don't care for is " A Box Of Birds". The Church covers songs by other bands and they do a pretty good job. However, the Cds in which the Church write all their own songs are impeccable. Steve Kilbey is incomparably talented and the other band members are great musicians. The Church sound like vintage U2 and Radiohead with a little touch of Syd Barret, David Gilmour, Roger Waters and the Pink Floyd Sound. Kilbey has been an animal-loving vegetarian for over thirty years and his blog is erudite, poignant and at times very spiritual.

Hitler and Gandhi Were Vegetarians

I recently saw the biographical movie about the last few weeks of Hitler's life, namely, "Downfall. It verifies that till the very end Hitler was obsessed with vegetarian meals and the welfare of his beloved dog. Even if Hitler was an animal-loving vegetarian, he was still the Nazi monster who killed millions of intelligent and innocent Jews. If people invoke Hitler to criticize animal rights, it is important to note that Mahatma Gandhi and William Booth were vegetarians. Gandhi is the greatest humanitarian in History and William Booth was the founder of the Salvation Army. Additionally, some of my favorite singers and musicians including Paul McCartney, Steve Kilbey, Chrissie Hynde, Morrissey, Tom Scholz and Jeff Beck are longstanding animal loving vegetarians. Screw HITLER !

God Is Love !

Even though I am a penitent and unpardonable sinner, I innately know that God is love. Love God's creation including the fallen human race, wondrous animals, birds, fish species, reptiles and other sentient beings. Don't embrace slaughterhouses, hunting, trapping, vivisection, fishing or any other act of destroying God's species. Abortion and the death penalty are both wrong. So long I must return to the internal prison where I belong.

Commercial And Industrial Fisheries' Atrocities

An equally depressing and infuriating National Geographic article about commercial and industrial fisheries revealed that these monstrous marauders massacre billions of fish and other marine creatures on a yearly basis. The overwhelming majority of fish and other species are not even the targeted fish. These atrocities on the seas and in the oceans are just as bad as the monstrosities that occur in slaughterhouses, veal crates and confined factorm farms. Fish are cruelly mistreated akin to cows, pigs, lambs, turkeys, chickens and other "food" animals. This is an egregious transgression to mistreat God's creatures in such a horrific manner. God bless the beasts and please enlighten mankind not to eat meat including fishies.

Idyllic Judeo-Christianity Is Vegetarian

Mankind was created to be vegetarian (Genesis 1;29) and messianic times will restore vegetarianism (Isaiah 11:9). This is the Judeo-Christian ideal.

Killing Primates

Bushmeat savages and poachers are butchering and slaughtering gorillas, orangutans, bonobos and chimps to the point of oblivion. Our closest animal relatives are literally being eaten into extinction. What a travesty and an abomination being ruthlessly perpetrated by humans in the Congo.

Spiritual Vegetarians

Mahatma Gandhi, John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, and Ellen G. White, the Matriarch of the Seventh Day Sdventists, were all humane vegetarians who detested cruelty agianst animals. Ms. White inspired millions of people to become vegetarians. Cesar Chavez, the Mexican-American Social Justice icon, was a vegetarian who abhorred dogfights, bullfights and cockfights. Chavez was a Catholic.

Who I Am

Brien Comerford is an unpardonable sinner who loves God. I am a vegetarian and animal welfare advocate who will not eat any of God's creatures. I denounce slaughterhouses, hunting, fishing, trapping, dogfights, bullfights, cockfights, rodeos, vivisection. The aborting of human fetuses is also an abomination. I am a penitent worthy of hell but I will fight for animals to make their lives swell. By the way, I am a Fat Vegetarian. It's sad but true.
