Dick Gregory Is An Animal Loving Vegetarian !

African-American, civil rights leader, Dick Gregory, has been an animal loving vegetarian for over forty years. He has consistently denounced slaughterhouses, hunting, trapping, animal experimentation, fishing and inhumane circuses and rodeos. Gregory is a strident militant on behalf of Black empowerment but he remains a bona fide pacifist. If Dick Gregory was the Nation's number one African-American leader, there would not be so many homicides and such rampant animal cruelty in our urban cities. Dick Gregory predated all of our other animal welfare leaders. He encouraged the venerable Coretta Scott King to become a vegetarian. The late Mrs. King was a veritable saint.
